**Job Purpose**:
The CPMO shall be primarily responsible for leading the day-to-day operations for program and project developments of the Group and its subsidiaries; in accordance with the strategic plan, operating, and capital budgets. The CPMO reports to the Group's Chief Executive Officer ("CEO").

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of programmes and projects;
- Develop and oversee long term business strategies of the Corporation in collaboration with CEO and CFO;
- Provide leadership and strategic vision to the organisation and implement operational controls to achieve all project objectives;
- Effectively communicate, adequate reporting and foster growth among the executive team and all employees;
- Prepare annual operating & project development plans that supports the Corporation’s long-term operations strategy in collaboration with the CEO and CFO;
- Keep the CEO fully informed in a timely and candid manner of the conduct of the day-today programme and project operations towards the achievement of its established goals and of all material deviations from the goals or objectives and policies established by the Board;
- Ensure that control measures for cost, time and quality are in place;
- Maintain strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines as well as project management, quality and safety standards;
- Board and Committees presentations;
- Foster a corporate culture that promotes ethical practices, customer focus and service and encourages individual integrity;
- Maintain a positive and ethical work climate that is conducive to attracting, retaining and motivating a diverse group of top-quality employees at all levels;
- Assess and manage the principal risks of the Organization's business within operations (proposals, projects and staffing);
- Assist with the Business Development process for onboarding new projects;
- Performance Management, management of contracts for outsourced services;
- Monitor the achievement and maintenance of a satisfactory competitive position within its industry;
- Perform other functions related to the office of the CPMO or as may be requested by the CEO or the Board.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- A four-year BSc or Bachelors degree or similar in the construction project management environment;
- Project Management Professional registration is required (e.g. with SACPCMP, PMI);
- Must be able to manage financial budgets;
- Proven track record in managing large scale construction projects (project management experience);
- Masters in Business Administration (optional);
- Post graduate diploma in Management (optional);
- 5+ years senior management experience;
- Experience in strategic planning and execution.

- Ability to communicate and interact with officials at all levels of government and to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community;
- Ability to motivate teams and simultaneously manage several projects;
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure;
- Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to develop and deliver presentations;
- Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management;
- Ability to examine and re-engineer operations and procedures.

**Salary**: From R900,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
