**Purpose**

The purpose of this role is to provide technical, administrative and operational leadership to assigned AWS projects and tasks for a telecommunications client.The Project Director will oversee the AWS project rollout and ensure that the project is successful.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Developing technical AWS project plans and reports.
- Communicating with stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of the project.
- Interacting with vendors and other customers on behalf of the client.
- Conducting planning meetings and providing recommendations to the client around project targets and plans.
- Coordinating the development of deliverables.
- Ensuring Quality Assurance of the AWS project deliverables.
- Maintaining the latest knowledge of AWS cloud technology and solutions.
- Exceptional IT Project Management skills with the ability to manage cross-functional team members.
- Mentoring and leading others through by utilising the project management best practices.
- Creating and monitoring the project budget.
- Ensuring that the project teams adhere to the project targets.
- Managing the AWS rollout project from inception to conclusion.

**Desired Experience & Qualification**
- 3 to 5 years’ experience managing an AWS project.
- 5 years of Client relations experience
- 7 years of Project Management experience
- Degree or Masters in Information Technology or any relevant Qualification
- AWS Certification
- Project Management qualification - Advantageous
- Communication Skills

- Time Management Skills
- Organisation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
