** Quality Control**: Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure consistency and excellence in all catering services provided to our airline. This includes monitoring food preparation, packaging, storage, and handling procedures.
- ** Compliance**: Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety regulations, airline industry standards, and company policies. Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices to continuously improve our catering operations.
- ** Micro Biological**: Ensure micros are always in limits and to ensure that in the case that these limits are not met an immediate action plan is implemented and retesting to ensure the root cause is found.
- ** Supplier Management**: Oversee relationships with catering suppliers, including conducting regular audits and evaluations to assess their performance and adherence to quality standards. Collaborate with suppliers to address any issues and implement improvements as needed.
- ** Menu Development**: Work closely with culinary teams to develop menus that meet the diverse preferences and dietary requirements of our passengers. Ensure that menu items are of high quality, visually appealing, and meet nutritional guidelines.
- ** Training and Development**: Provide training and guidance to catering staff to ensure that they understand and adhere to quality standards and procedures. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence within the catering team.
- ** Quality Assurance Systems**: Develop and implement robust quality assurance systems and procedures to track and monitor the quality of catering services at every stage of the process. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- ** Customer Feedback**: Solicit and analyze customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and address any issues or concerns related to catering services. Work closely with customer service teams to ensure that passenger feedback is addressed promptly and effectively.
- ** Risk Management**: Identify potential risks and hazards related to catering operations and implement measures to mitigate them. Ensure that emergency response procedures are in place to address any food safety incidents or other emergencies.
- ** Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities, including inspection reports, audit findings, and corrective actions taken. Prepare regular reports for management to communicate the status of catering quality and compliance.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Hospitality Management, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification in Quality Assurance is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance or food safety management, preferably in the airline catering industry.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, FDA, USDA), airline catering standards (e.g., IATA guidelines), and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
