ESAB South Africa is looking for an experienced Service Technician take take responsibility of ensuring that all manual welding and cutting products sold by ESAB South Africa is pre-deliverytested, as well as ensuring that all automation and cutting products sold by ESAB South Africa is commissioned and putinto service professionally and on time.

**_What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be _**
- Ensure Pre-Delivery Inspections are carried out.
- Demonstrate new manual welding and cutting machines at customers, distributor or ESAB premises.
- Installation of manual and automated/mechanized/robotic welding and cutting equipment
- Ensure servicing is completed to a high standard within agreed timeline of customers.
- Ensure documentation for servicing is completed accurately.
- Provide education to our customers / distributors / agents on their welding and cutting products.
- Adhere to Howden/Customer/Statutory procedures, instructions, and quality and safety standards.

**_Your Education Should Be _**
- 5-8 years’ experience in a Service Technician position within a welding industry
- Excellent welding and cutting process and product knowledge.
- Good understanding of electronic tools.
- Must be able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to adapt to situational demands.
- Must have good communication skills; both verbal and written
- Must be willing to travel when required.
- The ability to work overtime.
- Driver’s licence.
