Technician (Gdc)

Job Title: GDC Technician

Location: [Germiston]

Job Summary:
To service and maintain machinery deployed at various sites, implement an effective maintenance system within customer facilities and ensure SLA delivery

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and testing of relevant equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and calibration activities
- Conduct periodic inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly
- Assist with the installation of new equipment as needed

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5yrs experience in servicing and maintenance of Auto Sweepers, Auto Scrubbers and combination machines.
- Working knowledge for the maintenance of petrol and diesel combustion engines, hydraulics and basic plumbing.
- Strong technical skills and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 kg
- Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work in various environmental conditions (e.g. hot/cold temperatures, confined spaces)
