Financial Director

The Financial Director will direct, control and coordinate the financial and accounting strategies of EARN, conforming to the framework established by the Managing Director, CE, and Board of Directors.

1. Formulate, implement, and review budgetary and accounting strategies in collaboration with other managers.

2. Advise the Managing Directors on financial plans.

3. Provide and interpret financial information for business performance and funding needs.

4. Oversee the development, implementation and monitoring of accounting and business systems.

5. Supervise the preparation of financial reports forecasting the organisation's financial status.

6. Evaluate capital finance proposals and operational projects' financial status.

7. Recommend on investment strategies, fund sources, and earnings distribution.

8. Provide long-range profit forecasts, budgeting and financial reports.

9. Ensure compliance with statutory legislation including tax and corporate governance frameworks.

**QUALIFICATION REQUIRED**:

- BCom degree (Hons) or related business degree
- CA (SA)(Advantageous)
- MBA (Advantageous)

**EXPERIENCE & SKILLS**:

- Minimum of 5 years Financial Management in a commercial environment.
- Experience in strategic accounting, Tax Administration, budgeting, financial control.
- Proficiency in ERP and MIS systems.
- Experience in talent management and development.
- Extensive knowledge of corporate governance.
- High-level customer orientation.
- Capable of directing self and others.
- Exceptional people and project management.
- Outstanding communication, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of accuracy, diplomacy, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation and Import/Export administration.
- Achiever, Activator with highly developed stress management skills.
- Display mental alertness, judgment, endurance, perseverance and analytical abilities.
- Embody traits of fairness, empathy, consistency, strong value system, and being a team player.

**Salary**: R416,000.00 - R653,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Centurion, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
