Our client a large 4-star Hotel and Restaurant entity is currently looking to employ an F&B Supervisor, to commence duties soonest.

Duties & Responsibilities
- As F&B Supervisor, you are responsible for overseeing the efficient running and profitability of restaurants to ensure restaurants run smoothly, have superb customer experience, customer orders are expedited, and maintain good working relationships with suppliers.
- You are also required to train and supervise restaurant staff, ensure compliance with food health & safety regulations, and resolve customer complaints.
- Furthermore, you should also be able to identify ways to decrease the restaurant's operational costs.
- Ensure your personal upskilling and growth by participating in personal development activities.
- Ensure participation in yearly performance appraisals.
- Ensure that all legislative and operational training is conducted in line with group requirements and/or training department directives.

Financial

Assist with the execution of all administrative tasks including but not limited to:

- Budget preparation
- Mid-month and month-end preparation
- Financial year-end preparation
- Ensure that all internal control measures are in place, always maintained and adhered to.
- As a management/leadership team, you will be required to achieve the budgeted food, beverage, and vending revenue.
- As part of the management/leadership team, you will be required to monitor and follow up on all applicable expenditures, so as to ensure that expenditure remains within budget and that the stipulated cost percentages are achieved.

People & Development
- Ensure that all HR related actions comply with company rules and policies.
- Maintain sound industrial relations (IR).
- Ensure that all shifts are manned and recorded in line with group requirements and to facilitate the smooth running of payroll.

Operational
- Ensure that all documentation and correspondence is processed, stored and archived effectively in line with the group’s audit requirements and/or statutory requirements.
- Ensure that the brand standards per brand and for the group, as applicable are maintained to ensure consistency and continuity.
- Ensure that all Disaster Management, Health and Safety requirements are adhered to at all times.
- Ensure that all operating equipment is utilised correctly.
- To always be on the lookout for and be aware of any enhancements that could improve product offering, service delivery, productivity and efficiencies and to communicate such

Service
- Initiate, build, grow and nurture excellent professional relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure that the highest level of cleanliness, presentation and service are extended to every internal and external customer.

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12 / Equivalent.
- National Certificate and has obtained some form of recognised hospitality qualification. Higher Certificate in Food & Beverage Operations Management (NQF Level 5) advantageous. Culinary related Diploma is advantageous.
- Computer literacy is essential, particularly with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Applicant must have 3 years of kitchen/restaurant experience.
- Client service experience is essential

**Salary**: R7,500.00 - R9,500.00 per month
