Internship: Quality Control in Clothing Production

**Requirements**
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Garment Construction/ Quality Control in Clothing Production or similar
- Computer Literacy - MS Word & Excel
- Ability to work with teams and lead decision making processes in a team environment Good critical thinking and analytical skills
- Have a ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Great ability to manage pressure and stress.
- Good Communicator (verbal/non-verbal) skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with changing priorities.
- Driven, confident, self-motivated and results orientated.
- Be hands-on and willing to go the extra mile at all times.

**Purpose**
- As a Quality Control in Clothing ProductionIntern, you will work closely with the Quality Manager and the Manufacturing and Product Development teams.
- In this role you will be involved with the development and implementation of, and adherence to, quality control initiatives and programs designed to ensure the attainment of company product standards

**Critical Results**
- Assist the Quality Manager by providing continuous information and improvement as required to achieve the quality goals and standards of LS&Co
- Be involved in monitoring the plant performance based on agreed development and production KPI’s and ensure as well as provide continuous feed-back on PPR’s & CS and information on all the different production processes, performance and sources all across the organisation.
- Identify innovative work practices that respond to the quality expectations and standards and ensure that all development activities at the factory are executed according to product brief and technical specifications.
- Assist in building and maintaining QC reporting models to evaluate in-line inspections, tolerances, QC timing, and overall quality standards
- Be instrumental in the rigorous control of rejects, repairs and washable garments, reducing the repair and seconds rates
- Assist with special projects as required from time to time
