**Job and Company description**:
My client manages waste from point of generation to destination, efficiently servicing the oil and gas, mining, FMCG, chemical, pharmaceutical, industrial, logistics and paper and packaging sectors across Southern Africa. They assist their clients with transitioning to the circular economy way of thinking - opening opportunities to deliver on economic growth, job opportunities and environmental practices that enable sustainable growth. The circular economy removes unnecessary waste materials, energy losses and related carbon emissions across supply chains, and allows materials, energy, and resources to be fed back into the cycle.

**As the Divisional Financial Controller you will be responsible for**:

- Analysis of the financial results of the region
- Analysis and explanation of management accounts to budgets and forecasts
- Finalising inter-depot charges
- Development and measurement of regional production KPI’s
- Presentation of financial results to management
- Controlling all orders against budget
- Preparation of annual budget and bi-annual forecast
- Ensuring compliance to internal controls at depot level
- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements. Variance analysis
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Additional controller duties as necessary

**Job Experience and Skills Required**:

- Completed B.Com degree or CIMA
- Financial Analysis experience
- 3 - 4 years’ experience in a similar role
