**Job Advert Summary**:
Responsible to drive a powerful and appropriate Brand & Communications strategy with the intent of maximising the relevance of the Gemini brand across various platforms both internal and external.

Reporting to the Chief Marketing & PR Officer: the incumbent will be responsible for delivering Brand, Marketing and Communications (incl. Public Relations) activities. Some of the key deliverables will include:

- Brand Strategy development and implementation
- PR and Communications Strategy development and implementation
- Overseeing GTM campaigns that effectively position the Value Proposition and drive acquisition
- Intermediary Engagement plan
- Budget management
- Agency Relationship and Stakeholder management
- Brand Health tracking and competitor analysis
- Monthly reporting

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Degree or Diploma equivalent NQF level 6 qualification in Marketing, Communications or Business
- Postgraduate degree or equivalent NQF level 7 qualification in marketing (preferred)

**Knowledge & Experience"**
- 8 - 10 years’ experience in marketing & communication (including PR).
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in a management role within marketing.
- Knowledge and understanding of marketing management principles and practices.
- Knowledge and experience in financial services (Insurance) environment would be advantageous

- Translating brand strategies into brand & communications plans, brand positioning campaigns and go-to-market strategies.

**Commercial Acumen**:

- Is adept in the use of the latest MS Office package, particularly Excel, Word and Power-point.

**Strategic Management**:

- Creates alignment between the commercial 5-year business strategy and marketing & Communication strategies, including ensuring adequate reporting on initiatives.
- Sets actionable strategic priorities for marketing that are aligned with the business objectives and ensures successful implementation and measurement.
- Develops and implements core business research measurement and reporting.
- Monitors and measures brand equity and adjusts all initiatives accordingly.
- Continuously reports on key findings on core business initiatives, progress and overall business performance across various stakeholder groups.
- Supports Chief Marketing & PR Officer in developing strategic Brand & Communication plans to effectively reach and influence customers and intermediaries.
- Lead campaign implementation as per the annual marketing calendar.
- Support the effective management of Partner Relationships (Agencies & other support stakeholders).
