To plan and build Global Enterprise services platforms that are secure, high volume, high performance, highly available and can be shared across all MTN OPCOs and CoE. Collaborate with Enterprise Business managers to translate product requirements to system level architecture and high

Lead the Technology CoE B2B platform architecture function and related deliverables. Ensure the overall health and strong security posture of the Technology CoE B2B related architectures, products, and services.

**2. Context **(Global influences, environmental / industry demands, organisational mission etc.)
- The MTN Group strategy - Ambition 2025 - is based on 10 main pillars, including the Platforms one.
- Based on that, an increased focus is required on Enterprise ICT services and platforms across all MTN Operating Companies.
- In order to accelerate on this stream, MTN Group ExCo has decided to establish a Centre of Excellence (CoE) dedicated to those services.
- This is not far from what is happening in other Telco groups, like Telefonica or Vodafone.
- The current allocation has been selected among few options and has been approved from the Executive Steerco that is supervising the programme with the participation of Group and SA Exec’s
- MTN South Africa is establishing a dedicated Technology function to support the MTN Converged ICT services ambitions.
- It has been agreed that the existing Technology support for the Group Elevated Multinational accounts will be housed within the Enterprise CoE with the Operations, Service Management, Incident and problem management being ring fenced into a dedicated function within Technology B2B CoE organisation.

**Key Deliverables**

**Strategy Planning**
- Develop and maintain a Platform Architecture and Services roadmap for Internet of Things (IoT), Cyber Security, Cloud, MNS, and UCC domains.
- Provide strategic insight and technical oversight related to the implementation of new tools, technologies, solutions, and methodologies.
- Interpret the overarching strategy of the company and formulate aligned strategic deliverables.
- Align with other related units of MTN Technology functions to ensure compliant and integrated architecture and integration principles are applied.
- Define and own the end-to-end CoE Tech Operations Support System (OSS) and Business Support System (BSS) architecture.

**Solutions Delivery**
- Define architecture and standards for complex global platform infrastructures.
- Deploy platforms in line with the architectural blueprints and enterprise business plan.
- Define and maintain the technical architecture associated with the underlying platform infrastructure and integration to back-end systems.
- Guide the MTN operating companies (OPCOs) on Platform and Services Architecture to align with the Group strategy.
- Own and oversee the CoE architecture uplift linked to Group Technology Architecture Working Committee (AWC) and Technology Security Governance Council (TSGC).
- Evaluate output from different vertical domains (IoT, Cyber Security, Cloud, MSN, and UCC) and determine applicability of integration into the wider infrastructure.
- Manage and oversee the execution of complex internal, OPCO, and customer systems integration services.
- Develop in-depth business cases to support technical recommendations given related to the architecture design and implementation of Converged Services.
- Ensure and drive strong integration with all relevant Technology and business stakeholders to enable the highest quality platform architecture.
- Identify, plan, coordinate, and oversee the delivery of security assessments and other security services required.
- Provide security consultancy to ensure new products and services are deployed in a manner that ensures adoption of the relevant security strategy, designs, standards, controls, and tools.
- Produce due diligence reports to be used in the creation of action plans to guide any remedial actions needed.
- Master knowledge of complexities, services, and regulations related to a wide array of geographic locations to understand and cater to the demands of customers in each location.
- Report and investigate all security related incidents and manage the development and implementation of corrective measures.
