Our client is seeking a **Generator and Transformer Supervisor** to join their team, based in East London.

Minimum Requirements:

- Technical degree or certification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance and operation of generators and transformers
- Previous experience in a supervisory role preferred
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergency situations
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

**Duties**:

- Supervise a team of Technicians and Electricians in the maintenance and operation of generators and transformers
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures for generators and transformers
- Monitor the performance of generators and transformers and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Coordinate with vendors for the procurement of necessary parts and equipment for maintenance and repairs
- Conduct regular inspections of generators and transformers to identify any potential problems and address them in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all maintenance and repair activities
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including equipment logs and maintenance reports
- Train and mentor new Technicians and Electricians on proper maintenance and operation procedures for generators and transformers
- Communicate effectively with Property Managers and other team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance of generators and transformers
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in generator and transformer technology to make recommendations for improvements to systems
