Plennegy (Pty) Ltd was founded in 1955 and is both a trading and holding company with its core business being related to agriculture and property investments. Together with its associated companies, the group develops, produces and distributes seed, as well as supplies farming equipment, fuel and vehicles to the agricultural and retail industries.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will assist us in getting the talent we need to feed & nourish the continent.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Talent acquisition:

- Maintain full control of the Recruitment cycle in accordance with the group acquisition strategy.
- Responsible for ensuring all vacancies are proactively managed and filled in a timely manner
- Coordinate the Onboarding and Induction process for all new joiners
- Partner with hiring managers/teams to source talent for critical vacancies, as well as headhunt for high priority / scarce skill roles
- Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives, including research of best practices in interviewing techniques, and leveraging internal sources of talent
- Provide weekly feedback to leaders on the progress of vacant roles
- Update relevant schedules and databases on progress
- Arrange MIE and credit checks
- Assist with training plans for new starters

2. Talent Strategy And Reporting:

- Assist the Talent Lead in developing Recruitment Strategies
- Update Talent Lead and Hiring Managers on Recruitment progress and provide comprehensive reports
- Establish and maintain a relationship with the key players of all the relevant universities and key stakeholders in the business
- Maintain control of Recruitment data
- Ensure that both the Quality of Hire and Time to Hire are considered with all placements

**Requirements**:
1. Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resource Management (Essential)
- BCom HR Management / Bcom Industrial Psychology (Essential)
- BCom Hons HR Management / Industrial Psychology (Advantageous)
- A valid Drivers license (Essential)

2. Training:

- Microsoft Excel Basics (Essential)
- Microsoft Word Basics (Essential)
- Microsoft PowerPoint Basics (Essential)
- Labour Law Compliance (Essential)
- Sage People - Basic (Advantageous)

3. Skills:

- Interviewing Skills
- Energetic & Motivated

4. Experience:

- Generalist HR - 3 years (Essential)
- Talent Administrator - 3 years (Advantageous)
