We’re searching for an experienced **Technical Writer** to join our team and help take our customer-focused services to new heights.

**Responsibilities**:

- Advocate for and write documentation from the perspective of the user, turning insights into language that sets our users up for success;
- Research, outline, write, and edit new and existing content, working closely with various departments to understand project/product requirements;
- Obtain a deep understanding of products and services to translate complex product information into comprehensive, polished, and engaging content;
- Evaluate current content and develop innovative approaches for improvement;
- Adhere to and expand upon the Documentation Portal Writing Guide that outlines the unique writing style and tone of voice used in emerchantpay technical documentation;
- Contribute to the development and refinement of processes within the technical writing team that facilitates the creation of technical documentation;
- Maintain and expand upon the growing Documentation Portal glossary that explains industry terms to merchants and partners and champions the use of unified terminology internally.

**Requirements**:

- Native-level English language skills in written and verbal communication;
- A keen interest in technology and a proactive approach to problem-solving;
- Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics and products;
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously;
- Experience using WordPress or advanced publishing and content management tools to create documentation;
- Experience using custom HTML code to ensure the proper formatting and display of content;
- Experience with Jira or similar issue-tracking software;
- Experience with the Agile methodology and iterative documentation generation;
- Experience with Confluence or similar collaborative wiki software to document and refine the processes within the technical documentation team.
