**About The Role**:

- Generating leads and cold calling when necessary to obtain new clients and expand existing client base.
- Meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ensure all sales orders and customer enquiries are handled with professionalism, accuracy and in a timely manner.
- Maintaining the Escape Gear (sales and / or orders) Inbox.
- Managing all incoming calls.
- Attend to all walk-in customers.
- Creating Quotations, Invoices and / or Pro-forma Invoices and ensuring Payment is received.
- Accurate processing and capturing of orders.
- Ensure that orders are received by Dispatch department before cut-off.
- Clear communication through-out the sales process with all customers
- Effectively and proactively communicate important feedback from customers internally.
- Ensuring quality procedures and SOP’s as per our Quality Management System
- Become the product ‘guru’ and upsell products to new and existing clients.
- Develop and implement sales initiatives.

**About YOU**:

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Comfortable with cold calling to expand existing client base.
- Great Attention to detail.
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Strong customer service attitude.
- Computer literate / tech savvy.
- Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a high level of dedication to the customer.

**The Essentials**:

- Matric (preferred)
- At least 2 - 3 years of sales experience in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working on ERP system preferred.
- Proven work experience as a Sales Administrator or Sales Support Agent.
- Be able to reliably commute to our offices in Diep River and then Paarden Eiland once the company moves premises.
