**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in freight forwarding.
- Experience in Wine export will be advantageous.
- Must have sound knowledge of export processes.
- Knowledge of wine exports, related procedure, and documentation.
- Understanding of profit and loss revenue on shipment basis.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
The role responsibilities will include, (but not limited to):

- Handling export shipments from order receipt up to file closure - Completion of relevant shipping documents as prescribed by local / international authorities.
- Coordinate the movement of cargo on behalf of clients.
- Develop and maintain working relationships, networks and partnerships that help achieve business goals.
- Control expenses by actively monitoring waste within their control.
- Always ensure best control of costs and transit on all routes.
- Problem solving skills - Provide positive / innovative / effective solutions to clients’ needs / problematic situations.
- Find innovative ways of reducing errors and omissions.
- Understand and exceed client's expectations and requirements.
- Ability to foresee problems arising and provide alternatives solutions proactively.
- Accountable for timeous resolution of outstanding debtors' queries, foreign debtors' queries, creditors reconciliation queries and foreign account queries under their control.
- Accountable for on time and accurate billing to clients.
- Managing clients KPIs / performance monthly in conjunction with productivity of their own desk.
- Making special arrangements / involving the right level of individual to support on critical shipments.
- Support in after hour monitoring and tracking and tracing with carriers, arranging loadings on weekends or facilitating communication and feedback on weekends as and when may be required.
- Tracking shipments from collection to collection and arrival.
- Team player with a positive attitude - provide full support to the team and manager.

**REMUNERATION PACKAGE**
A market related salary based on the level of responsibility for this role is on offer.
