Supply Chain Stock Controller

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a **Supply Chain Stock Controller **at** I&J, Danger Point, Gansbaai,** Cape Town. The purpose of this role is to provide stock management expertise in the production department in conjunction with the grading department, ensuring that stock records are accurate and complete.

**Job Specification**:
**Key Performance Areas**:
**Management of stock counts**
Assist Data Analytics Manager to plan and execute stock counts.
Analyse stock count results and prepare stock count reports.
Conduct stock reconciliations.
Develop strategies to reduce stock variances.
Identify and develop processes of efficiently conducting stock counts

**Management of stock movements**
Liaise with grading Team Leaders and Managers to ensure the correct volume of stock is processed.
Oversee the accuracy of processing reports.
Oversee daily movements of stock between production departments to optimize current processes.
Analyse stock movements to identify and address causes of variances.
Assist with biomass forecast to determine stock availability for sales.

**Development and review of stock management SOPs**
Produce applicable standard operating procedures to guide relevant business processes.
Review and update relevant standard operating procedures.
Prepare standard operating procedures for audits.

**Biomass sampling and other datasets**
Assist with biomass data collection and oversee the schedule of the data collection team.

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Experience**:
3 years in logistics or supply chain

**Qualifications**:
Degree in supply chain or logistics

**Additional requirements**:
Must be excel literate - ADVANCED
Valid Code 08 drivers license
Must have data analytics working experience
