Job requirements:

- NTC 3 Trade Theory certificate
- 3-5 years’ experience in supervisory role
- Valid Passport
- Seafarers Medical certificate.
- Valid Police Clearance Certificate
- Seamans Record Book
- All STCW (Standards of Training, Certification & Watchkeeping for Seafarers) certificates must be valid

Job responsibilities:

- Ensure compliance with Group Safety and Security policies and with Permits to work (hot work)
- Complete Risk Assessments on all activities
- Carries out welding, fabrication and related works as directed by the TECH SUPT
- Maintains all welding equipment, gas bottles and lines in compliance with company standards
- Assists with the launch and recovery of the ROV seabed mining tool as required
- Ensures all housekeeping in relevant work areas meets required standards
- Ensures all work tools are safe and properly maintained and stowed

**Job Type**: Permanent

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

- Certificate (preferred)
