IT Support Analyst

Given our ambitious growth plans, we are now looking for a Support Analyst to help support our growing customer base and technology team.
You will be working with both our Customer Success and Technology teams by helping diagnose and address issues raised by customers and the broader organisation across our product portfolio.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to quickly gain experience in several areas for promotion into other roles.
**Responsibilities**:
- Be readily available to receive support requests via the ticketing system.
- Manage open tickets in line with company guidelines, providing a fix wherever possible.
- As the first point of contact, offer a positive company image in your role.
- Complete courtesy follow-ups with the customer when their faults have been resolved.
- Take control and own your own performance.
- Liaise with technical teams, keeping them up to date with issues and relaying responses to customers.
- Use and actively maintain the knowledge base.
- Provide reports on customer issues, experience, and product quality to management.
- Develop user support documentation.
- Contributing to testing and validation where appropriate.
You must be able to work independently and be self-motivated whilst working effectively in cross-functional teams. Good, proactive communication with technical and non-technical people is critical. To succeed within this role, you will be able to think beyond problem resolution by actively identifying opportunities for improvement. You must have good written communication skills, mainly communicating with customers via the ticket system.
**Experience**:
- Experience in a similar support role is highly desirable.
- The following specific skills are desirable.
- Proficient with ticket logging systems
- Issue tracking software e.g. Jira
- Problem solving
- Good written and spoken communication skills
- At least 2 years of experience on a Service Desk

**Salary**: From R14,000.00 per month
