Futurama is a fast-growing, young, energetic and vibrant team of go-getters, selling various products from night vision to optics, camping gear, sustainable power products, hydroponics and more, both online, and in our stores based in Somerset West.

We are looking for a marketing and media manager with a good attitude and passion for what they do.

As the marketing and media manager, you will be responsible for all the company's marketing related activities.

**Duties**:

- Manage a creative team to strategically drive the brand awareness and growth of the company and the products it sells.
- Managing all marketing channels including social media, newsletters, print advertising, radio campaigns, in-store and external events, give-aways and donations.
- Developing strategies and tactics to boost the company’s reputation and drive qualified traffic.
- Deploying successful marketing campaigns from ideation to execution.
- Experimenting with various organic and paid acquisition channels.
- Building and managing Google Adwords campaigns and measuring the success of the campaigns using Google Analytics.
- Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against annual goals set out by the CEO.
- Oversee and approve marketing material, both online and in the physical stores.
- Work with the sales and catalogue team to promote specific products and categories during the appropriate seasons throughout the year.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years experience in marketing management in the retail environment.
- Bachelor degree in Marketing, or demonstratable marketing skills/knowledge.
- Firm grasp of SEO best practices.
- Digital marketing experience.
- Google Adwords experience is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills (Written, Verbal, Phone)
- Excellent English language skills.
- Team management skills.
- Understanding of web design and UI/UX principles.

**Bonus**:

- HTML, CSS knowledge.
- Graphic design/web design skills.
