We are seeking a talented Social Media Manager to join our team in Somerset West. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance our brand presence, engage our target audience, and drive meaningful results across various platforms.

**Responsibilities**:

- Execute a comprehensive social media strategy to achieve our marketing and business goals.
- Create engaging and relevant content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
- Manage and monitor all social media accounts, ensuring consistent brand messaging and voice.
- Plan and schedule social media posts, taking into consideration peak engagement times and target audience preferences.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster meaningful interactions to build a strong community.
- Monitor social media trends, track industry best practices, and identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align social media efforts with overall marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Utilise social media analytics tools to track performance, generate reports, and optimise strategies based on data-driven insights.
- Stay up to date with emerging social media platforms and trends, exploring opportunities to expand our brand presence.
- Ensure compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, including privacy regulations, when managing user-generated content.

**Requirements**:

- At Least 1-2 years of proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing successful social media campaigns.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, their functionalities, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to adapt tone and messaging for different platforms and audiences.
- Proficiency in using social media management tools
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate engaging content that resonates with the target audience.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple social media accounts and campaigns.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools and basic image editing skills are a plus.
- Up-to-date knowledge of social media trends, algorithms, and industry developments.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
