**Job Summary**:

Siemens Energy is looking for a motivated and self-driven individual with Audit / Internal Controls / IT experience to help us to create and drive tasks within our RIC IT Assurance function, which has global responsibility over establishing and maintaining IT General Controls and methodology and is the incubator for automation and digitalization in Risk Management and Internal Controls

**Responsibilities**

Support and drive RIC IT Assurance in the following tasks:

- Develop general principles / methodology / assessment approach for ICFR relevant IT Controls to be incorporated into SE’s Risk and Control Framework
- Strong cooperation with the global/local SE IT Function
- Support ITGC outsourcing process to 3rd Party Service Organizations
- Organization of workshops (where necessary) with 3rd Party Service Organizations (e.g. Scoping/Lessons Learned)
Assess ISAE3402 Reports received from 3rd Party Service regarding their relevance for Group Reporting
- Impact analyses of ineffective ITGC/MITDC/ITAC key controls regarding their relevance for Group Reporting and guidance on the formulation of remediation measures and monitoring their correct and timely implementation
- Improving the quality of the IT Parts relating to MITDC/ITACs and keeping these up-to-date
- Providing training and supporting exchange of know-how within the RIC Community on IT topics.
- Internal quality monitoring (e.g. IT validation)
- Represent RIC in Finance and IT projects to ensure the highest degree of automation in new or adapted processes (e.g. S4 HANA project)
- Drive automation of controls, e.g. by robotic process automation, or continues control monitoring solutions)
- Align IT assurance activities with our external auditor

**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree
- IT general controls experience in the areas of change management, logical security, physical and environmental security, back-up and recovery, audit logging and monitoring, job scheduling, etc.
- Working knowledge of information systems. Understanding of potential risks around software, hardware platforms, processes, and interfaces
- Strong intellectual and analytical skills, e.g. able to sort through complex data and reach balanced and well supported judgments
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including proven ability to prepare and present information to all management levels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments, achieve deadlines and deliver quality results within a team environment
- Strong focus on efficiency and process improvement
- Creative, thinks “outside the box”
- Proven ability to build strong partnerships with teammates, key stakeholders, and business and functional experts and influence decision outcomes
- High level of professionalism and sense of urgency, awareness of when and when not to escalate
- Preference given to individuals with demonstrated knowledge/background in internal control principles, experience in risk and control self-assessment, including risk and control testing, and business process improvement
- Flexible and adapt well to changing environments
- Consultative approach
- Self-motivation and attention to detail

**Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience**
- Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g. CPA, CIA,) preferred
- Knowledge of COBIT framework
- Knowledge of SAP ERP system
- 4+ years in accounting, IT or audit role preferred
- Advanced testing including automated testing development and execution techniques preferred
- Ability to program macros (or other tools) as well as ability to automate processes through tools a plus.
