We at RCL FOODS are in search for a **Category assistant **to join our Group Functions team on a permanent basis. The role will be based in **Westville **and report to the** Category Development Manager and Assistant Brand Manager.**

**Purpose**

RCL FOODS is looking for an incumbent who will be responsible to manage the entire pie warmer estate consisting of 1,132 warmers, Manages the revenue of the warmers, Manages, and provides insights on the asset register as well as Budget management.

**Installation of new warmers**:
Receive warmer installation request from the outlet team/ NAM’s.

Lodge warmer installation request with agency RA to plan installation calendar and communicate to all parties involved.

Project Pie stop (Fresh stop’s Pie warmer project with customised branding) work directly with fresh stop (customer) to install warmers according to project Pie stop rollout.

Timeous rollout of R3m capex per year — project global warming is a strategic pie warmer project where new warmers are placed at Super Platinum, Platinum, Gold sites.

Ensure all new pie warmers are tagged so that the business can track the life stage of the warmer

**Maintenance, repair, and uplifts of existing warmers**:
Receive requests from customers / outlet team / NAM's — requests related to any repairs, damages, or warmer upliftment’s.

Lodge request with RA and plan the calendar liaising with all parties involved.

Manag e weekly tracking report of RA's performance vs deliverables — ensure service level agreements is adhered to.

**Warmer Budget**:
Manage the monthly warmer spend for installations, maintenance, repairs and upliftment’s. Budget may not exceed R200, 000 per month (R2.4m per year)

**Weekly warmer tracker**:
Set out monthly pie warmer placement targets for the outlet team.

Weekly tracker sent out to team to manage pie warmer placements.

and to indicate how many warmers are available for placement.

Monthly trends to be included in the reporting.

**Establish Payback period of warmers**:
Manage revenue of the 1,100 pie warmer estate

Insight driven reporting — provide insights on the following:
How many sites are purchasing / not purchasing.

What revenue are we getting from each our classified customers.

What revenue is being lost from those not purchasing.

Has the warmer been paid back with the revenue brought in by customer.

**Warmer look & feel**:
Standard warmer branding and tagging is required across the pie warmer estate.

Establish with outlet team which warmers require branding.

Brief artwork agency with pie warmer dimensions and get costing.

Implement pie warmer branding.

Update the pie warmer album with old and new images.

Update pie warmer catalogue that the outlet team can use to show customers.

Pies Marketing Budget

Loading CE's on the workflow.

PO s sent to customer.

Receipting and payment of invoices

Consolidate Pies budget between category, brand, and channel (R17.6m)

Update the marketing budget to ensure no overspend.

general administration including sales reporting and data analysis.

**KPI's**:
" Weekly warmer trackers.

" Ongoing liaising with customer / outlet team / NAM's " Management of warmer revenue with outlet team.

" Ensuring not over or under spend on budget.

Stakeholder ongoing feedback.

- Grade 12 (Matric)
- A tertiary qualification in Marketing or Finance would be advantageous.
- Must reside in and around Durban.
- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar environment would be advantageous.
- A valid code EB drivers’ licence.
