**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**
The purpose of this role is to plan and manage all aspects of Training and skills Development in the in the workplace with an intention to endure employees are developed and their performance is improved.
**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
- National Diploma in Human Resources (NQF6 or equivalent)
- At least 3 - 5 years of proven experience Training and Skills Development position
- An accreditation with MQA/ CETA as an Assessor or Moderator is required
- Experience as Skills Development Facilitator
- Proven Experience in Planning and project management
- Experience in mining environment will be an advantage
- Possession of a valid Driver’s License
**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES**
The following enlist the scope of some of the key Human Resources responsibilities and functions to be performed in the role of Training Officer:
- Training need identification and skill enhancement of employees
- Develop annual development training programs to address training needs
- Oversee delivery of technical and non technical trainings to enhance performance of employees.
- Prepare Monthly Training Plans and post training evaluation and reporting
- Design and development of various training materials and course content
- Engage with Training Service Providers on delivery of training interventions
- Prepare and oversee the delivery of training interventions
- Prepare data and reports on Skills Development Facilitation
- Engage with SETA on Skills Development programs and interventions
**REMUNERATION**
- Market-Related Compensation
