**Responsibilities**:

- Inspecting Casings: Carefully examine natural or synthetic casings to identify defects, variations in color, size, and texture. Ensure that all casings meet the established standards of quality and safety.
- Grading and Sorting: Accurately grade casings according to their quality, size, and suitability for various types of products. Sort casings into designated categories based on the grading criteria.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of inspected casings, including the grade assigned, quantities inspected, and any defects identified. Ensure that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Quality Control: Continuously monitor the quality of casings and report any issues or deviations from the quality standards to the supervisor or quality control department.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of grading equipment and work area to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Compliance: Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures related to food safety and quality.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a grading, quality control, or inspection role within the food production industry is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is advantageous.
- Training in the use of grading equipment and tools may be provided, but prior experience is beneficial.
