**Job Description**:

- The Treasury Systems team forms a key component of these Treasury initiatives as we drive to increase the level of automation and streamline processes and activities, as well as providing quality system support to the Business-as-Usual activities of Group Treasury, Global Shared Services (GSS) and the wider business.

The Treasury Systems team is primarily based in London, however, to provide quality support to the growing system landscape and user base, we require additional colleagues in multiple locations globally to work alongside the local Treasury and GSS teams, to understand and support their requirements, while also coordinating a standardised approach through the central Treasury Systems team.

The Treasury Systems Analyst is expected to perform an active ‘hands on’ role in the routine support and maintenance of Treasury systems across the Group, including core Treasury systems, dealing platforms, payment hubs, banking portals and associated interfaces.

**Typical Responsibilities**:

- Systems Support- Provide quality first line system support to GSS, Group Treasury and other parts of the business as appropriate
- Manage the planning and delivery of change requests, ranging from configuration updates to larger complex changes. Change requests may cover standard system configuration, reporting updates (including Crystal Reports), new or existing interfaces, etc. All changes must comply with JSE SOX and UKCR control requirements.
- Identify, manage, and resolve system incidents in a timely, prioritised manner. This may include coordination of responses across multiple stakeholders or impacted parties. Provide routine updates to the impacted business users. All incidents must comply with JSE SOX and UKCR control requirements
- Manage user access maintenance and reviews for all Treasury Systems and electronic banking portals. This includes managing joiners, movers, and leavers (JML) tasks for the setup or removal of user access. It also includes the support of periodic user access reviews to ensure access remains appropriate and compliant with policy
- Monitor system interfaces to proactively identify and resolve issues
- Adopt a continuous improvement mindset to proactively identify opportunities for improvement in systems or processes
- Support GSS with incidents or changes related to vendor and payroll payment file processing
- Escalate any high priority items or issues to the Treasury Systems Manager for support and guidance
- Manage and prioritise multiple tasks in parallel
- Prepare and deliver Treasury system training updates to users as required
- Prepare weekly, monthly, or quarterly audit reporting packs
- Project Management- Manage Treasury System projects, including the delivery of technical changes, budgets, risk management and stakeholder management. Provide clear and concise updates on project performance to management
- Prepare and deliver updates to management on a periodic basis or at key stages of a project
- Support the Treasury Systems Manager with workload and project planning activities
- Collaboration- Develop professional working relationships with counterparts in various system vendors, banks, and outsourced service providers, as well internal teams, to achieve high-quality levels of support
- Support internal and external audit activities by collating requested evidence information
- Act as a key point of contact for the South Africa Treasury and GSS teams for support activities. This will include periodic meetings with key contacts from each team to provide updates on relevant ongoing or planned projects or changes, or incidents
- Actively collaborate with your global Treasury System colleagues on an ongoing basis

**Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of:

- Finance/Treasury Systems support
- Experience of the following systems would be an advantage but not essential:

- FIS Quantum
- FIS Trax
- Bloomberg
- SAP
- Crystal Reports
- Technical awareness of payment file formats and bank communications for Group Treasury and/or Accounts Payable/Payroll processes
- Operational experience in a financial department with significant systems exposure
- Previous experience in a Corporate Treasury environment would be advantageous but not essential
