**The Business Unit Manager is responsible for aligning the business unit with the business strategy and ensuring profitability of the division, managing operations according to set budgets and minimising costs, driving efficiencies and KPI’s, optimising client relationships and identifying upselling opportunities.**
- Ensure employees comply with regulations related to tax, payroll, immigration, and contracts,Identify opportunities to reduce operating costs and increase profit margins

Responsible for onboarding new clients, ensuring smooth transition and proper handover to Account Manager.
- Review and adapt client MSA, SOW and update final version of contracts in conjunction with Client Solutions Department.
- Ensure MSA, rates and costing have been agreed and applied to the SOW(s), and documents are signed off by all parties.
- Manage client portfolio in conjunction with the Account Manager until the account is running successfully.
- Ensure all systems and processes are running smoothly with the account prior to complete handover.

Responsible for ensuring that customer service levels remain optimal.
- Monitor service levels and conduct monthly client reviews where applicable.
- Submit reports on status updates of client and service levels.
- Act as point of escalation for difficult client queries and complaints.
- Investigate client complaints and resolve problems.
- Communicate customer issues with operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints.
- Implement quality, and customer-service standards, and complete relevant audits.

Responsible for recognising organic growth upselling opportunities.
- Work closely with Account Managers and sales, to recognise and capitalise on up-sell opportunities.
- Identify business and client need trends and collaborate with team to make necessary adjustments.

Alert upper management of potential large-scale business opportunities that require senior level input / support

**Essential Experience**

Min 3 years’ experience managing a department in the manpower industry. Familiar with different African countries immigration, payroll, labour and tax regulations. ISO systems, contractual documents
