1. Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements.

2. Inspect machines, engines, and transmissions and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues.

3. Perform emergency on-site repairs to manufacturer and customer specifications. Explain problems and repairs to clients.

4. Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner.

5. Managing the entire on-site fitting, repair, and preventative maintenance services.

6. Conduct regular equipment inspections and provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machine or vehicle users.

7. Keep accurate records of services performed, parts used, and time spent on each job, producing detailed service reports for the field visits and report issues.

8. Managing the workflow as per the given schedule.

9. Planning of activities per production schedules and allocation of resources as required.

10. Effective communication to relevant managers to minimize delays.

11. Collaborate with the sales team to provide insights on equipment performance and customer feedback.

12. Adherence to policies and procedures.

13. Upholding of safety, health, and environmental standards to achieve ZERO HARM.

14. Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills and provide training and development of subordinates.

15. Stay updated with the latest agricultural technologies and mechanical advancements.
- 3-5 years post qualification within agricultural machinery and heavy machinery fleet industries.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client locations.
- Great communication and customer service skills in Afrikaans & English.
- Resilient, flexible, and adaptable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and performing well under pressure.
- Be able to carry and move heavy objects.
- Be prepared to do standby duties, callouts, and work overtime as per the role requirement.
- Successfully obtain a Medical Certificate and a Forklift License.
