**The Opportunity**:
**This position works out of our Johannesburg location in the rapid diagnostics division. In this division our rapid diagnostics solutions are helping address some of the world’s greatest healthcare challenges. Our diagnostic solutions are used in hospitals, laboratories and clinics around the globe.**:
**The crucial information derived from our tests, instruments and informatics systems are often the first step in patient care decision making for hundreds of health conditions from heart attacks to blood disorders to infectious diseases and cancers. Our Point of Care diagnostic portfolio spans key heath and therapeutic areas, including infections disease, cardiometabolic, informatics and toxicology.**:
**As the Supply Chain Analyst, you’ll provide support to business partners by solving complex problems using process improvement skills, analytical tools and supply chain knowledge as well as Identify, build, visualize, communicate and maintain data-driven insights to support Supply Chain and Commercial activities across the EEMEA region.**:
**What You’ll Do**:

- ** Assist in identifying, developing and implementing systems and business capability to support the ARDx Supply Chain operating model with particular emphasis on demand forecasting and supply chain planning enabling technologies.**:

- ** Shape unstructured and ambiguous information into a structured case for change by determining root causes of problematic areas and suggest improvements supported by quantitative and qualitative business case models**:

- ** Assist in standardizing ways of working across the region to deliver a consistent standard of excellence in all key processes across the E2E Supply Chain, including streamlining current methodologies and processes to enable operations while long-term solutions are developed**:

- ** Collect and analyse data, systems, procedural activities and information flows to assess the efficiency and costs of logistics and supply chain processes; then use statistical modelling skills to develop, and cost-justify logistics and process solutions to meet agreed customer needs**:

- ** Set up and maintenance of customer inventory database and development and running of customer inventory models**:

- ** Work collaborative with multiple internal and external stakeholders and datasets to develop inventory models as well as cost, volume and service baselines**:

- ** Analyze data and develop insights for supply chain related volumes, costs and service levels**:

- ** Identify, shape and drive continuous improvement initiatives**:

- ** Track and report supply chain performance metrics**:

- ** Build trusting professional relationships with internal team members and customers**:
**Required Qualifications**:

- **Bachelor’s Degree (4 year course) or Honours Degree - Typically Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management**

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- ** Typically 3+ years’ experience in supply chain analytics/planning/improvement/consulting including project management**:

- ** Lean/Six Sigma certification preferable**:

- ** Pharmaceutical / Medical Device industry experience will be an advantage**:
