A media company that specializes in delivering comprehensive coverage of economic and financial news with a focus on the African continent is looking for a Brand Solutions Support Agent. Through its various platforms, including television and online channels, the company offers in-depth analyses, interviews, and reports on market trends, business developments, and economic insights. With a commitment to providing timely and reliable information, it serves as a valuable resource for businesses, investors, and individuals seeking to stay informed about the dynamic landscape of African economies. The principal responsibilities of the Brand Solutions Support Agent are to support the Sales Manager and Sales Team with admin, coordination and presentations.

Minimum Requirements:
Matric
Be able to prepare and revise sales presentations on Microsoft PowerPoint and DVD
Keep up with current market demands
Proficiency in administrative tasks, including updating reports and submitting documentation
Previous experience setting up meetings and providing support to a sales team
Experience in coordinating qualitative research commissioned internally for the company and its programs
Experience in coordinating quantitative research provided by external research houses
Strong written communication skills with the ability to prepare articulate, formatted, and client-customized proposals
Understanding of advertising systems and experience in coordinating advertising material, scheduling, and financial information
Previous experience providing back-up office support to a sales team
Strategic thinking and analytical skills for presenting commercially viable program data to management
Familiarity with research and media tools, with the ability to develop new tools for analysis
Collaboration experience with Marketing Managers for the preparation and management of marketing materials
Strong analytical skills for analyzing audience figures, providing reasons for patterns, and generating regular status reports
Experience in ensuring the implementation of pre-planned promo campaigns in accordance with imaging and marketing plans
Efficient day-to-day operations support experience for a Sales Department
Flexibility to undertake additional tasks as required by the Head of Sales/Sales Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and revise sales presentations on PowerPoint and DVD to meet current market demands
Update Daily Contact reports
Set up meetings for Sales Managers
Submit weekly reports
Prepare well-articulated, formatted, presentable, and professional proposals customized for clients
Develop and coordinate documentation to assist the sales team in selling to clients
Understand advertising systems and be accountable for coordinating advertising material, scheduling, reports, and financial information
Provide back-up office support to the sales team
Strategize, analyze, and present commercially viable program data for Management
Monitor advertising sales on competitive channels and report findings to the Sales team
Implement the development of available research/media tools
Develop new research/analysis tools
Monitor program income and ensure commercial viability
Prepare and manage marketing material used by the sales team, e.g., rate cards and brochures, in conjunction with the Marketing Manager
Coordinate qualitative research commissioned internally
Coordinate quantitative research as provided by external research houses
Subscribe to and/or monitor other relevant industry tools available to assist in sales
Provide Sales Support material for the Sales team for special event advertising packages
Provide analysis reasons for audience figures on the station
Monitor audience patterns and their competitive environment to plan and develop schedules that will optimize the channel's competitive stance and increase audience share
Weekly status reports to the Sales Assistant Manager
Ensure that pre-planned promo campaigns are implemented in accordance with imaging and marketing plans
Monitor weekly performance of programs and manage schedules to increase audience share and ratings
Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Sales Department ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
Carry out any other work as deemed necessary from time to time by the Head of Sales/Sales Manager
