**Sales Development Representative (Durbanville)**

**OVERVIEW**

As the Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be responsible for helping us take our sales game to a whole new level. Your success will see you build long-term relationships with clients through effective communication, while also helping them grow their brand, improve sales, and ensure their continued success.

Your primary focus will be to communicate with existing and new clients to develop their account, coordinating with other agency departments to create and implement marketing campaigns and resolving any issues that may arise.

**WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**

Throughout every sales journey, you’ll need to:

- Focus on presenting, negotiating, and selling innovative brand-building solutions and campaigns to various clients.
- Identify opportunities to drive new business, grow existing business and upsell to clients in order to achieve monthly sales targets.
- Understanding the need of the clients by being a strategic partner.
- Work alongside clients to support them in bringing their marketing plans to life with creative solutions and actionable media proposals.
- Proactively identify new leads /opportunities and initiate sales tactics and strategies to grow our pool of clients, including cold calling, networking and the development of sales decks, mailers and packages.
- Focus on the development of lasting relationships with our clients and stakeholders and act as a Brand Ambassador of the company.
- Collaborate with the creative and strategic team to build out strategic presentations and implement cutting-edge brand strategies and campaigns that meet the clients project scope and budget.
- Manage your portfolio of clients by delivering excellent service, ensuring all work is briefed in correctly and that you support them in every step of the execution process.

**WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU**

To be considered for this position, these are the skills we’re looking for:

- Matric/Grade 12.
- Degree in Marketing/ Digital Marketing/Brand Strategy/Communication/Media.
- 2-3 Years’ experience in a Sales or Business Development role.
- Valid drivers’ license & own reliable vehicle.
- Proven track record in sales development preferably in the Retail, FMCG, Advertising or Media industry.
- Experience working in Marketing Agency would be beneficial
- Excellent communication, negotiating, and solution selling skills.
- Proficient in MS Office.
