**Key responsibilities & duties**:

- You will be required to perform other / additional duties & responsibilities as instructed and assigned by the Branch Manager / Line Manager
- Strategically manage the distribution of stock to branches throughout South African
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations
- Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilisation
- Initiate, coordinate, and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
- Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security
- Manage stock control and reconcile with ERP system
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies
- Load planning vehicle utilization
- Identify staffing needs and motivate, measured against business needs
- Prepare and submit monthly / weekly / daily operational reports as and when required by the Branch Manager
- Daily, weekly and or monthly reports compiled for upper management on transport costs and staff overtime and absenteeism
- Security of site
- Warehouse planning
- Manage the transport function in total arranging transport, booking loads, invoicing, truck inspections for road worthiness liaise with the dedicated Transport provider
- Perform the administrative management for the Group, which entails daily capturing of all loads dispatched, transporters used, and costs incurred
- Cleaning of EPR system and solving all distribution queries / errors
- Receiving of imported stock locally and internationally
- Planning of local and long-distance deliveries
- Communicating with Sales Department to ensure smooth collection / loading and off-loading
- Overseeing logistics / transport processes in line with the Company policies and procedures

**Minimum requirements & experience**:

- Syspro experience required
- 8-10 years experience in the Fluid Control industry - preferably in a Warehouse / Distribution environment
- Product knowledge required
- Experience required in Tube & Piping
- Computer literate: advanced skills on Excel and an ERP system
- Mature and assertive
- Strong organizational skills & good planning skills
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Good communicator
- Management experience required as well as the Management of staff
