You will be responsible for but not limited to:
Perform improvements on machines and equipment when necessary

Ensure proper care and use of workshop machines, tools and equipment

Testing of machines and equipment worked on during maintenance

Repair, replace, or adjust defective or worn parts, using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment

Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to understand equipment specifications and ensure proper installation, maintenance, and repairs

Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed, parts used, and associated costs

Precision assembly of mechanical components for advanced robotic systems

Proficiently performing drilling, tapping and other machining operations to exact specifications

Proficient in interpreting manufacturing drawings

Collaborating with engineers to interpret and implementing design plans

Ensuring highest quality standards in all activities

Contributing to the continuous improvement of current systems

**EDUCATION / REQUIREMENTS**:
Grade 12 (Matric) / Technical Qualification

Qualified / Trade tested Mechanical Fitter

Red seal certificate will be highly adv

Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience as a mechanical fitter, maintenance technician, or similar role in an automation setting

Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment

Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings

Must be able to work on own or within a team

Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Commitment to adhering to safety regulations and industry best practices

A keen eye for detail and commitment to precision and quality

Experts in assembly work, drilling, tapping and related mechanical tasks

Fully bilingual English & Afrikaans

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: R15 000,00 - R17 000,00 per month
