We are recruiting an experienced Security and Logistics Supervisor to be based in our Head Office in Prospecton.

**Job description**:
Management of the Groups Security area of responsibility as per the company rules and regulations. Support function to all internal departments within the company

**Customer / Stakeholder Accountabilities**:

- Develop and maintain relationships with Managers and staff
- Liaison with Executive Management
- Liaison with internal departments
- Liaison with external Stakeholders (Security Providers, SAPS, armed reaction providers, Dept of Labour)
- Liaison with customers

**Measured Operational Processes Accountabilities**
- Risk: All investigations, Guarding, Building alarms and reaction Units. Internal CCTV / External CCTV and after-hours monitoring. CIT collections and Branch risk analysis.

Provide related progress reports, stats and reporting to Executive Management or Board.
- Formulate Technical standard and SOP for Alarm and Response Protocols ensuring full operationality.
- Management and facilitation of all Civil and Criminal action liaison with the necessary prosecuting authorities. Liaise with Stakeholder (SAPS, Forensic ETC) to Finalise and ensure successful prosecution where required.
- Maintain and record Loss Control /Investigation Register and reports on Progress or finalisation
- Assess and review Alternative Security Providers and Negotiate Commercial Agreements
- Manage and Conduct Risk investigations - Nationally across all Branches and assigned projects
- Provide Monthly reporting Risk Management timeously and Planning and best practice counter measures

Define and formulate group SOP for Security, armed reaction for all Branches and Management compliance
- Identification and efficient communication of identified risk and required best practice and safe guarding and prevention of potential areas.
- Management of Fleet Vehicles: Vehicle specifications and budgeting. Management of servicing and licencing of vehicles via ABSA Maintenance agreements. Purchasing of new vehicles and selling of old vehicles. Monitoring of ABSA and BP fuel. Monitoring of fleet and tracking system.
- Ensure the necessary staff training on vehicle tracking and monitoring is enforced.
- Admin: Managing internal hygiene system and internal plant agreements. Monitoring of waste management and disposal thereof. Assisting/ involved in all insurance related matters. Enforcing company policy and procedures
- Cable cutting: Maintenance of all cable cutting equipment, purchasing of new cable cutting equipment. Arranging calibrations of cable measuring equipment.
- Forklifts: Monitor forklift services, and Identify and purchase new forklifts. Managing maintenance agreements
- Buildings: Management of maintenance (R&M) to all owned and leased buildings. Interactions with new building projects and building additions. Liaising with service providers (shop fitters) on new and upgrading counter layouts and monitoring installations.
- Ensure Group safety files are maintained, current, and audited.
- Render internal OHS investigations with all stakeholders, report and finalize. Facilitate and coordinate with external stakeholders regarding OHS Audits for the Group
- Conduct Investigations on incidents and OSH branch audits.
- Warehousing: Manage risk assessments, Camera layouts. Liaising with service providers on racking layouts and monitoring of installations.

**People and Leadership Accountabilities**:

- Liaison and reporting to Executive Management on progress and outcome of Investigations/identified risk.
- Liaison with prosecuting authorities regarding criminal or civil action pursued.
- Liaise and ensure best practices with relevant Security firms and necessary stakeholders
- Providing support and guidance to internal departments in the company
- Deal with day-to-day inquiries from management/employees
- Keep up-to-date with best practice standards for area of responsibility

**Essential Required Qualification**:

- Valid Grade 12 Certificate
- National Diploma in Operations / Logistics /Risk Management
- Required Safety and Security qualifications

**Essential Experience**:

- 5 Years’ experience in a similar role
- People management experience
- Experience working in a pressured and fast pace environment
