Danfoss is looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Shipping Controller. You will have the opportunity to become part of a thriving and motivated department, where you can challenge yourself by managing a versatile and comprehensive position with a wide range of tasks and responsibilities.

**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Delivering high quality freight, shipping and import/export services measured according to Service Level Agreement with Danfoss Divisions (Climate Solutions & Drives).
- Complete Warehouse Operations - Inbound, Outbound, Stock Movements within locations, Complete Inventory Management.
- Managing new shipment bookings of Climate Solutions and Drives orders from factories globally and arranging with freight forwarders to move shipments from factory to South Africa by Sea/Air/Courier.
- Confirmation of container booking with shipping line, Air freight shipments pick up from factory and follow up on the process.
- Coordination with factories for shortages/Excess of goods and adjustments in Danfoss SAP system.
- Complete management of Local Deliveries for Drives and Climate solution orders.
- Coordinating transportation services with 3PL, Danfoss factory and cross trade shipments related to WH operations.
- POD & TMS Management.
- Delivering data and analysis for RFQs and logistic services suppliers’ performance.
- Coordinating with 3PL & freight forwarders to monitor Incoming shipments and receive shipments in time to Warehouse for booking of stock and handle outbound shipping documents, coordinate with customers and Internal stakeholders for Shipment queries.

**Background & Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree or similar, within logistics/supply chain management or alternatively have some years of logistic/supply chain/procurement experience in the logistics or procurement environment is required.
- Professional and possesses outstanding communication skills both verbal and written in all situations, especially when dealing with customers, suppliers, and co-workers
- Identifying risks in the logistics workflow process and make necessary recommendations
- Prioritization of tasks and attention to detail
- Organized and process oriented
