Main purpose of the Job

In line with adumo’s purpose; to be a catalyst for Growth: Grow our customers, grow our communities, grow our continent and ultimately grow our people The Project Manager: Adumo Payments - role encompasses this purpose in its entirety.- Understand the product vision and strategy and be able to articulate it to the team
- Work with the product owner to develop and maintain a product backlog that is prioritized and ready for execution
- Plan and execute sprints, ensuring delivery of high-quality features within the committed timeframe
- Monitor progress against the sprint goal and make adjustments to the plan as necessary
- Manage each sprint or release cycle, ensuring that it does not exceed the available time/budget
- Remove impediments that block the team’s progress or prevent them from working effectively
- Evaluate project risks, making decisions about how to mitigate them, and communicating those decisions to stakeholders
- Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos
- Help the team to continuously improve their process and delivery
- Keep stakeholders informed of project progress and risks
- Manage dependencies on other teams and ensure timely delivery of required artifacts
- Work with a team of developers, product managers, and other professionals to ensure that projects stay on track and meet their deadlines.
- Use an iterative approach to manage projects.
- Communicate with the client throughout the project to ensure that they are aware of project status and of any potential risks
- Communicate effectively with clients or other stakeholders about project goals and progress
- Manage the project schedule and identifying potential risks or issues that may impact the schedule or cost of the project
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Adhere to industry best practices
- Mentor and coach less experienced colleagues

Adumo’s Project Managers are expected to have a strong sense of ownership, be extremely reliable and have an excellent level of problem-solving, process, communication and people/expectation management skills backed up by hands on experience. PMs need to have a strong agile and solutionist mindset.

**Required: Experience & Education**

**Minimum**
- 2-3 years’ experience as a Project Manager
- Project Management/Agile certifications

**Desired**
- 3 + years’ experience as a Project Manager
- Technical experience in a related IT Industry
- Experience in retail, banking, payments industries
- A proven track record of successfully implementing complex projects in a high-tech development environment with multi-function teams.
