**Medical Receptionist, Centurion**
Our client a Gynaecologist and Obstetrician based in Centurion is seeking to recruit a medical receptionist.
**Responsibilities**:
- Answering calls
- Diary management and appointments
- Addressing queries
- Managing the mobile phone after hours
- Ensure all forms are completed prior to consultations
- Process payments (cash practice)
- Generate quotations and produce invoices or in-room and theatre procedures
- Keep an accurate record of all cash transactions
- Purchase stationary and groceries for the practice if required
- Theatre bookings
- Communicate with the patients, anaesthetist, hospital and assistants
- Assist patients with authorisations
- In-house billing
- Assist Doctor with personal appointment bookings
**Qualification and Requirements**:
- Matric
- At least 3-5 years experience in a similar medical receptionist position
- Computer literate (Good X and Elixir would be a added advantage)
**Skills and attributes**:
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Professional communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work independently as was as with a team
- Attention to detail
- Organized
- Computer literacy
- Ability to multitask
- Well-presented and professional
- Team player
**Working hours**:
Monday to Friday, 08h00 - 17h00
