**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Manage the dispatch team, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure effective performance and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Plan and coordinate daily dispatch schedules to meet delivery deadlines and customer expectations.
- Monitor the progress of all deliveries (direct and via 3rd part couriers) and resolve any potential delays or issues to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Arrange courier shipments and compare costings.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize routes, reduce delivery costs, and improve overall efficiency.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the dispatch department.
- Monitor vehicle maintenance and compliance with transportation regulations.
- Keep all vehicles clean and report any problems to management as soon as possible.
- Oversee inventory management and accuracy during the dispatch process.
- Analyze performance metrics and data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Foster a positive and cooperative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development among dispatch staff.
- Maintain effective communication with customers, addressing inquiries, and complaints, and resolving any customer service issues promptly.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to the dispatch team for continuous improvement.
- Continually assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the systems in your department to run optimally.
- Be solution driven and innovative.
- An interest in technology and how it can be used in business will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of the printing industry.

**Requirements**:

- Matric or equivalent.
- Experience in people management.
- Creative approach to day-to-day challenges and a strong sense of ambition to solve issues and achieve targets.
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English, with exceptional writing and communication skills.
- 2 - 3 Years of previous experience in the print industry related to logistic management.
- Hyster license would be advantageous.
- Previous experience with Quick Easy.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Parow, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
