**Position Overview**:We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Junior Graphic Designer to join our dynamic design team. As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of design projects, collaborating with senior designers and other team members to create compelling visual assets that align with our brand identity and marketing objectives. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about design, possesses a strong foundation in design principles, and is eager to learn and grow within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the creation and production of various visual assets, including but not limited to: digital graphics, social media content, print materials, presentations, and website elements.
- Collaborate with senior designers and team members to develop design concepts that effectively communicate our brand message and marketing goals.
- Edit and retouch images to enhance visual appeal and maintain consistency.
- Support the development of design layouts, typography, and color schemes that align with established brand guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to contribute fresh and innovative ideas to design projects.
- Assist in managing and organizing design files and assets for efficient workflow and retrieval.
- Participate in design brainstorming sessions and contribute creative insights to project discussions.

**Requirements**:

- Higher education qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, demonstrating a solid understanding of design principles, layout, typography, and color theory.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and familiarity with design tools like Sketch or Figma is a plus.
- Basic understanding of digital and print design processes, including preparing files for both mediums.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- A proactive and adaptable attitude, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Basic understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design concepts is desirable.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and motion graphics is a bonus, but not required.
- A passion for design and a desire to continually learn and develop your skills.
- Openness to receiving constructive feedback and implementing changes accordingly.

**Salary**: R8,000.00 - R12,000.00 per month
