The Human Resources Business Partner will be accountable for the implementation of human resources policies (systems, processes, procedures and practices) to ensure that strategic objectives of the business unit are realised and aligned to the Group HR Strategy. Factors in terms of the specific operational and social environment will be relevant, such as manpower procurement, social demographics and local conditions within a legislative framework. Policies and specific practices are determined at the higher level with an operational and functional input from this role. The role will supply functional knowledge and expertise to all other functional areas within the specific business unit/operation.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Workforce planning and budgeting (forecasting, skills gap assessment, critical talent and roles, diversity planning and costing),
- Manpower procurement and utilisation (recruitment, selection, on-boarding, etc.)
- Training and development (system and program infrastructure development, learning capability assessment and development, etc.)
- Relationship management (systems and communication structuring, forum utilisation, individual case management, collective systems management, etc.)
- Corporate social investment (demographic scenario plan, business case agreements, relationship management, PR value management, etc.)
- Remuneration and benefits management (comparative analysis, adjustment plans, etc.)
- Human resources administration and systems management (systems capability and auditing, etc.)
- Managing and leading human resource department staff.

**Requirements**:

- A tertiary qualification in Human Resource management / Psychology / Industrial Psychology (Minimum NQF level 6).
- Minimum 5 years' experience in human resources roles in an industrial / manufacturing environment, with exposure to the main areas of human resource management.
