We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maths and Physics Tutor to provide personalised instruction to students in grades 8-12. As a Math and Physics Tutor, you will play a crucial role in enhancing students' language skills, comprehension, and appreciation for Afrikaans literature. This position requires the tutor to have their own transport for convenient commuting to the learner's residence in the Roodepoort Area.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide personalised Math and Physics tutoring sessions to Grade 8 - 12 learners.
- Assess the learner's strengths and weaknesses in Math and Physics.
- Develop customised lesson plans and teaching materials to address the learner's specific needs.
- Utilise creative teaching methods and strategies to engage the learner and enhance understanding.
- Monitor the learner's progress and adjust teaching techniques accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with the learner's parents or guardians regarding progress and areas for improvement.

**Requirements**:

- Teaching experience or tutoring experience with a proven track record of student success.
- Proven experience as a Math and Physics tutor.
- Strong knowledge of the Grade 8 - 12 Math and Physics curriculum (including CAPS, IEB and Cambridge).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and empathy when working with learners who have learning difficulties.
- Own reliable transport for commuting.
- Residing in Roodepoort/Krugersdorp.
