**Summary**

To ensure that rent / levies billed is collected, the credit control policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to stringently and income generated by way of credit control recoveries.

**Minimum requirements**
- Credit Management qualification or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of Credit Control and administrative experience.
- Excel experience beneficial
- Experience in extracting age analysis.
- Basic understanding of the National Credit Act.
- Own vehicle and willing to use for work.

**Key Performance Areas**

**1. Operational requirements**
- Generate levy statements for owners.
- Ensure statements are delivered by deadline across all delivery methods.
- Bill owners’ relevant collection/legal fees.
- Investigate account / billing queries and provide feedback to Owners.
- Analysis of legal expense accounts monthly to ensure allocated to correct property.
- Generate monthly invoices for the payment of recoveries to managing agent.
- Debit order collections.
- Ensure debit order forms are completed and captured accurately into WeConnectU.
- Streamline the collection process by driving the debit order payment system.
- Implement credit control procedures.
- Generate and distribute in house demand letters.
- Execute house visits.
- Ensure credit control recoveries are billed and monthly targets reached.
- Make payment arrangements and follow-ups with owners when appropriate.
- Attend meetings with owners to discuss accounts / arrears
- Attend to legal matters by handing delinquent payers over to legal representatives.
- Liaise with attorneys throughout the legal process.
- Reporting
- Prepare monthly reports summarising status and work done to owners as neccessary.
- Engage with current community development programs.
