We have an exciting opening for a logistics manager for TSU Group Holdings. You will be responsible for overseeing and optimising all aspects of the logistics and supply chain operations as well as procurement within the organisation.

**Key performance areas**

**Strategic Planning**:
Develop and implement the overall logistics strategy aligned with the company's business goals.

Collaborate with other departments to understand and support their logístical needs.

**Supply Chain Management**:
Procurement

Inventory management

Distribution.

Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to companies within the Group.

**Leadership**:
Lead and motivate a cross-functional logistics team, providing direction and fostering a culture of excellence.

Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and facilitate professional development.

**Cost Management**:
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimise logistics expenses.

Negotiate contracts with suppliers, carriers, and other partners.

**Technology Integration**:
Evaluate and implement logistics technology solutions to enhance efficiency and visibility within the supply chain.

Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.

**Compliance and Risk Management**:
Ensure compliance with local and international regulations governing logistics operations.

Mitigate risks by implementing robust security and contingency plans.

**Performance Metrics**:
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly assess and report on the performance of logistics operations.

Implement corrective actions as needed to achieve optimal results.

**Relationship Management**:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address any issues affecting logistics performance.

**Continuous Improvement**:
Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance the overall efficiency of logistics operations.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the logistics team.

**Minimum requirements for this position are**:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.

8 - 10 years of proven experience in logistics management, with a track record of successful leadership.

Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, regulations, and industry best practices.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in logistics and supply chain management software.

Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a diverse team.
