Our client in the Technology industry is currently looking for a CCTC / Network Technician to be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV systems and/or network infrastructure.

**Responsibilities**:

- Cabling: basic understanding of network cabling.
- Electrical: basic understanding of basic electrical principals, circuits, and wiring.
- Electronics: familiarisation with electronic components in CCTV and Access Control, circuits, relays, and troubleshooting methods.
- Software: ability to use specific software related to the field, such as CCTV and Access Control software.
- Troubleshooting and problem solving.
- Ability to identify and diagnose technical problems logically and systematically

**Requirements**:

- Matric certificate
- Drivers license
- Must have 2-3 years of relevant data cabling
- Experience in supporting network equipment and operating systems
- Good understanding of networking and equipment fundamentals (Ethernet, cabling standards, TCP/ IP)

**Salary**: R20 000,00 - R25 000,00 per month

**Experience**:

- Data Cabling: 3 years (required)
- Operating systems: 2 years (required)
- CCTV: 2 years (required)

License/Certification:

- Driver's License (required)

Ability to Commute:

- Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal (required)
