Hotel Group based in Centurion is looking for a Paralegal Secretary to assist in conducting legal research, drafting legal documents and providing general assistance to the Management of the Group.
- Welcomes guests and clients by greeting them in person or on the telephone, and by answering or directing inquiries.
- Produces information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics to help coordinate case preparation.
- Reads, researches, reviews, verifies, and routes correspondence, reports, and legal documents.
- Drafts, revises, and edits letters and other written documents, and collects and analyses information.
- Maintains managements calendar by planning and scheduling conferences, teleconferences, travel; and filing requirements; monitoring evidence-gathering; and anticipating changes in litigation or transaction preparation requirements.
- Maintains client confidence by keeping client’s information confidential.
- Develops and maintains filing and retrieval systems, as well as digital archive systems.
- Records and documents meeting discussions, maintains transcripts, documents, and maintains evidence.

**Requirements**:

- Matric
- Legal secretary / paralegal qualification
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a paralegal secretary in a large law firm
- Full working knowledge of all MS packages
- Dictaphone and copy / typing of a wide range of documents
- Preparing agreements
- Incorporating amendments into documents and cross-referencing clauses
- Preparing resource and client files
- Administering and organising legal documents
- Ensuring that the Filing System is kept up to date (Hard Copy / Electronic)
- Hard worker and deadline driven
- Good communication skills
- Must be well organised and conscientious
- Display attention to detail
- Good Interpersonal skills
- Honest, reliable and punctual
- Able to work well under pressure
