Logistics Clerk

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Communicate with clients & shippers and resolve any complaints
- Basic daily tasks and operations of planning & loading of containers and shipping processes, shipping/receiving, create packing lists
- Selecting carriers and negotiate shipping fees
- Prepare sales reports for management
- Keep a meticulous record of shipment information, inbound & outbound
- Manage the shipments of containers and other goods
- Collaborate and communicate with packing technicians
- Organize and monitor the distribution of containers and goods
- Excellent knowledge of import and export regulations and requirements
- Ad-hoc duties
**Skills**:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good working knowledge of the granite industry (advantageous)
- Creative thinking skills
- Excellent problem solving solving skills
- Good time management skills
- Experience working with electronic data, Microsoft Excel & Word
- SAP experience (advantageous)
