As a Tech-Savvy Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the retail store, ensuring it runs smoothly while leveraging technology to optimize performance and enhance the customer experience. Your role will involve driving sales, managing staff, maintaining inventory, and utilizing data-driven insights to make informed business decisions. You will act as a leader who inspires the team and promotes a technology-forward mindset within the store.

Duties

1. Store Operations:

- Ensure the smooth operation of the store, including opening/closing procedures, cash management, and compliance with store policies.
- Use tech tools to monitor stock levels, forecast needs, and manage product ordering and replenishment.
- Implement and manage digital tools (e.g., inventory software, CRM systems, and mobile POS solutions) to enhance operational efficiency.
- Address technical issues related to store operations, including POS systems, customer databases, and other digital platforms.

2. Sales & Customer Experience:

- Develop strategies to meet or exceed sales targets by leveraging tech insights, customer data, and market trends.
- Use technology to personalize the customer experience, including loyalty programs, digital promotions, and in-store tech demonstrations.
- Stay informed about the latest tech products and trends, and ensure that store staff are knowledgeable and capable of demonstrating and recommending products.
- Analyze sales data and customer behavior metrics to improve the store’s performance, optimize product placement, and identify growth opportunities.

3. Team Leadership:

- Recruit, train, and manage a team of retail associates, ensuring they are well-versed in tech products and digital retail tools.
- Use digital systems to track employee performance, scheduling, and productivity, and provide regular feedback and coaching.
- Organize ongoing training for staff on new tech products, sales techniques, and technology tools to enhance their skills.

4. Marketing & Visual Merchandising:

- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement in-store and online promotional campaigns using technology (e.g., digital displays, QR codes, etc.).
- Utilize tech-driven data to ensure products are strategically placed to maximize visibility and customer interest.
- Manage the integration of in-store and online customer experiences, ensuring a seamless approach across all sales channels.

5. Technology & Innovation:

- Act as the store's expert on technology products, providing guidance and support to both staff and customers.
- Identify and implement new technologies that can improve customer service, store operations, and sales (e.g., virtual try-ons, mobile checkout).
- Ensure customer data is protected and that the store complies with all data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR).

Qualifications:

- 3-5 years of experience in retail management, with a strong focus on technology integration.
- Proficient in retail tech systems, such as POS, CRM software, inventory management systems, and data analytics tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team, with a focus on technology-driven performance improvement.
- Proven track record of driving sales and improving store profitability through data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tech concepts to both staff and customers.
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service with a tech-forward approach.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: R6 000,00 - R8 000,00 per month
