Shopfitting Supervisor

**Position**:Shopfitter Supervisor**

**Reports to**: **Factory Manager**

**Position Summary**:
**Education/Qualifications**:

- Valid driver's license

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Dispatch and Installation Coordination**
- Supervise the dispatch of products to various installation sites, ensuring timely delivery.
- Coordinate installation schedules and allocate resources effectively.
- Communicate with installation teams to provide clear instructions and support.

**Project Coordination**:

- Coordinate all aspects of shopfitting projects, from planning to completion.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client specifications.

**Team Supervision**:

- Lead, mentor, and supervise the shopfitting team to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide guidance and support to team members.

**Quality Assurance**:

- Ensure that products are dispatched and installed according to quality standards and client specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets quality standards and project specifications.
- Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions as needed.

**Safety Compliance**
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Conduct safety briefings and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations..

**Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, installation schedules, and stock movements.
- Generate reports on stock levels, installation progress, and other relevant metrics.
- Provide regular updates to management on key performance indicators and operational issues.

**Process Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for process improvement in dispatch, installation, and stock control operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement efficiency enhancements and best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and optimize resource utilization.

**Client Communication**:

- Maintain effective communication with clients to ensure their needs and expectations are met
- Provide regular updates on project progress and address any client concerns.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Shopfitter or in a similar supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of shopfitting techniques, materials, and tools.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project plans..
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Pay: R15 000,00 - R20 000,00 per month
