An exciting career opportunity exists for an IT Operations Manager who will partner with the Group CIO

in managing day-to-day operations in order to improve IT infrastructure, performance and end-user

satisfaction, in a cost-effective manner.

Specific Role Responsibilities
- Provide leadership in planning and managing computer operations and production support,

systems and database administration, network operations, PC/desktop support and customer

service.
- Ensure systems performance and service-level requirements are met.
- Manage IT resource requirements to ensure appropriate balance between tactical and strategic

demands... Implements IT continuous improvement programs within enterprise guidelines.
- Provides in-depth technical expertise for both tactical and operational initiatives.
- Ability to improve operational efficiency and service delivery effectiveness across all lines of

business and technology platforms
- Ability to communicate information security and risk-related concepts to technical and

nontechnical audiences at various hierarchical levels, ranging from board members to technical

specialists
- Ability to lead and motivate the information security team to achieve tactical and strategic

goals, even when only "dotted line" reporting lines exist

Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor of Science: Computer Science or similar and relevant B-Degree
- 8 - 10 years' experience in a similar role within an IT environment, of which 3 - 5 years was at a

senior management role
- Post-grad qualification in Business studies highly advantageous
- Experience with contract and vendor negotiations
- Strong budget planning, financial management and resource management skills
- Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to effectively deploy resources and

manage multiple projects of diverse scopes in a cross-functional environment
- Working knowledge and understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements
