About the Analytics and Data Team

We are a full service Analytics team and form part of Incubeta’s Global Operation Hub in Cape Town. We service clients globally, and are experts in Analytics Implementation, CRO, Data Solutions (Analysis, Engineering and a little Data Science). Our strength lies in our collaboration with each other and our drive to be the best in our fields. As the Data Solutions Team Lead, you will lead the Data Solutions pod in the bigger team.

**Overview Of Job Description**:
As a Data Solutions Lead, you are responsible for ensuring that the data team (consisting of Data Analysts and Data Engineers) are producing work of the highest standard and adhering to industry best practices.

Your team should be producing innovative and exciting data based solutions, dashboards and insights reports to solve complex data problems.

The team is expected to be able to present their models, data and insights to clients and internal teams either from a dashboard, Google Sheets or from Google Slides in an understandable and simplified manner to ensure that the work is understood and bought into by all stakeholders.

You are expected to have a relentless curiosity about various business problems and a passion for inventing data-based solutions to those challenges.

You are required to:

- Analyze data to discover hidden trends; deliver insights and analysis with clear recommendations
- Build well-managed data solutions, tools, and innovative prototypes to enable self-service frameworks
- Deliver effective presentations of findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Document analytics projects in a manner that ensures specific processes can be replicated and scaled across the organization
- Collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders in an agile and dynamic environment
- Maintain a profitable team with reasonable billable hours.

Place Within Organisation
- Reports to the Head of Analytics and Data in the Analytics and Data Team in the Global Ops Team.
- Works with the global ops team, international analytics teams, local and international commercial teams and consultants.

Knowledge And Experience

**_ REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE_**

As a Data Solutions Lead, you are required to provide advanced analysis and insights to our clients and internal teams through Looker Studio, BigQuery, Google Cloud Platform and other tools. In order to successfully perform this role, you will need the following hard and soft skills:
Hard Skills
- Expert SQL
- Advanced BigQuery
- Google Cloud Platform certified (Advantageous)
- Good Python & / R
- Probability and Statistics
- Prescriptive, predictive and statistical Modeling advantageous
- Presentation Skills
- Provide training to internal and external teams; including but not limited to:

- Looker Studio
- Data Literacy
- Introduction to SQL
- Introduction to BigQuery
- Knowledge of Key Metrics and Dimensions for GMP Platforms (DV360, CM360, SA360), Google Ads and Facebook
- Knowledge of Digital Media Strategy (Advantageous)
- Understanding of Data Science Principles and Practices
- Data Science Experience (Model design, build and testing) would be an advantage
